Make an ID or passport photo at home
No photo booth needed. One photo taken against a plain wall becomes a photo that meets the size rules, entirely in your browser.
Steps
- Take the photo facing the camera in front of a plain, bright wall. Watch for glasses glare and shadows.
- Drop it on "ID photo" and pick the format (passport 35×45, US 2×2, résumé and others).
- Line up the face guides. The tool shows the head height and chin position the rules ask for.
- Set the background to white and save: a single photo for online applications, or a sheet of six for printing.
Questions
- Does it really meet passport rules?
- The size and head proportions are cut exactly to the specification. Expression, shadows and background brightness come from how the photo was taken, so follow the guides and retake if needed. Acceptance is always the office's call.
- Is the photo uploaded?
- No. Cropping and the white background happen in your browser; press "Network" in the bar to see for yourself.
Pictures are never sent anywhere; everything runs in this browser.
